Ridgeway Community School branding and promotional content. Written, Directed, Filmed, and Edited by Kobi Dansingburg // Kobi Dansingburg Creative Services.
Early in 2017 I was contracted by The Land Stewardship Project to do an event video covering their “Bridge to Soil Health” workshop. Along with covering the speakers I also produced a short trailer with a few short scenes filmed at their offices in Lewiston, MN. Many thanks go out to Doug Nopar and Shona Snater for their help on this project. Music was generously provided by the talented Mike Munson.

Early in 2017 I was contacted to help make a short no budget ad to promote Ridgeway Community School's ongoing campaign to replace their ageing gym floor. In less than a week the video went from first draft to final product due to time constraints. I am very happy with the way this project turned out and the effect it had on growing awareness and excitement for the fundraiser.

Some projects are the result of planning, pitching, and organization. And some come with so little warning that you barely have any time think. My first project with StoryMobile was certainly the latter. At around noon I was driving around Dinky Town looking for some food when I got a call from a friend who was in a panic. StoryMobile's contracted videographer had dropped out of a paid shoot scheduled for that day without warning and they needed help. Luckily I had a free afternoon and evening and less than an hour later I was over the the Minnesota State Fair location helping interview HealthEast employees on their annual employee party. I was then asked to edit the footage that myself and the other StoryMobile workers collected into 3 minute and a 10 minute videos. Did I mention the edits had to be done in under a week and I was leaving the state the next day for a family wedding?!?!  Well when the dust settled the client was very happy, which was about all I could have hoped for under the circumstances!
2017 was the year of my first livestream project! I had a super fun time helping out with the Ten Thousand Theaters Conference held at Open Book in Minneapolis in early November. With the internet being the way it is, it seemed like a million things could go wrong, but with this project everything went right! The Sony a7s proved it's worth once again on this project as I often had to shoot at iso 3,200 and 6,400 due to the light levels in the space and the footage all looks pretty clean! It's still an amazing camera! Thanks go out to Ten Thousand Things Theatre Company for bringing me on for this project.
